SURGERY MARCH 9TH

The surgery will be March 9th at Palomar Hospital. It will consist of Bladder and Prostate removal. Mario will be in surgery for 8 hrs. and will then go to intensive care for 2-3 days. He will then go to the regular floor for 10 days. His urologist is Tom Jones and his general surgeon is Dr. Greer. Please continue to pray for Mario as he undergoes this intensive surgery and recovery

Cindy

In good spirits

Mario is at Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, Ca in room 814 and is in good spirits. We spoke to Cindy and they are planning to keep Mario until Saturday or Sunday morning. At this point the family is requesting no visitors, he can however receive flowers and phone calls. Cindy will be home taking care of Mario on Sunday and Monday. There is a check up appointment scheduled for Tuesday or Wednesday and Cindy will keep us posted on all results.

Prayer request are that Mario is able to rest and heal quickly from this procedure and that the results are such that Mario will have a speedy recovery.

In all I think and say and do,

The Battle Begins

Mario resides in San Marcos with wife Cindy. He is loved by all at Welk Resort Group San Diego. Mario and Cindy are undergoing a very challenging time. With uncertainty of Mario's health condition. There has not been an official diagnoses. First we want to express our gratitude and appreciation for all of the love, care, prayers, encouragement that have been showered on them during this challenging time. We want to use this Blog to keep you all informed about Marios's diagnosis and treatment progress as they unfold. We also want to inform you of specific prayer requests and needs for the family. At this point this is what we know:
- Mario will be having a biospy performed Friday, February 23, 2006.
- Please pray for healing and a quick recovery.

• Psalm 27:5 For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high on a rock.
• Psalm 27:14 Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!
• 2 Corinthians 12:9 But He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
